Jerk, California.

I honestly could not put this book down to save my life. All throughout school I would pull it out and I would squeeze in any chance I got to glance into the lovely world of Jerk, California. It actually made me cry every time that it mentioned the death of young Jack's dad. This is not a spoiler, it tells of his death near the very beginning and hints to it on the back cover. This wonderful novel brought me to an understanding of what Tourette's does to the body and how it affects the person emotionally. I fell in love with Jack, but not so much with Naomi. She made me think of young stupid girls who don't know what they are doing with their lives but I think she makes Jack care even more and come to be a wonderful person. I would gladly recommend this novel to anyone I know who likes to read. It made me laugh, cry, and feel accepted all in the time period of three days.
